My eyes got hurt.
My contact lenses were intended to be worn for only a week,but I wore them for over a month.

The doctor told me that my eyes appear to be scratched.
He is right; I have throbbing pains in my eyes, and they fill with tears.


I learned a lesson from that. I have to follow the instructions about wearing the contact lenses for only a week.
